What is “DDP”
“DDP” stands for Delivered Duty Paid.
Under DDP, the sender (shipper) prepays all shipping costs, customs duties, taxes, and import charges so that the recipient doesn’t pay anything upon delivery.
The recipient gets the package with no surprise fees.
What is “DDU”
“DDU” stands for Delivered Duty Unpaid. The sender (shipper) pays for shipping but does NOT pay for import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees.
The recipient is responsible for paying those charges when the parcel arrives in the destination country.
What is Duty Free limit in my country
Each country has different duty free limits (de minimis values). For example, the duty-free limit in the European Union is 45 Euro, in Ukraine - 150 Euro, while countries often have a limit from $0, which means that parcels with value $1 will be charged for duty payments. We recommend checking the official government sources before shipping. Also you can check de minimis values here.
Who pays duties and taxes
The recipient is responsible for paying duties and taxes when the parcel arrives in the destination country.
My parcel was detained in customs
If your parcel was detained in customs, it may be due to missing documents, restricted items, or unpaid duties and taxes. Customs clearance is handled by the destination country, and processing times may vary. Please check your email for any requests from customs or contact our support team for assistance.
