Business Development Manager

POSITION SUMMARY:
Business development manager creating new opportunities for Meest-America shipping, e-commerce and fulfillment businesses in the regions of company's activities.  
- Researches the latest trends in the e-commerce fulfillment industry and creates new opportunities to expand business.
- Presents to, and consults with, senior level management on business trends with a view of developing new services, products, and distribution channels.
- Develops a strategy and sees it through from insights to execution to drive revenue and profit growth for Meest-America business categories.
- Prospects for potential new clients, manages the relationship and collaborates with the team to develop proposals that speaks to the client's needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Serves as liaison between e-commerce fulfillment contacts, sales team counterparts and internal support team members to foster culture of growth and collaborations.
- Identifies opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
- Uses knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Participates in developing and implementing innovative e-commerce marketing, pricing, profitable sales strategy and programs to meet and exceed business plan and sales objectives.
- Organizes and develop quarterly and annual plans to drive weekly and monthly prioritizations of key development activities and projects to achieve superior management of business development plans.
- Keeps team informed on status of plans and programs, changing conditions, market requirements, competitive activity, and issues and accomplishments that may affect business results. Issues progress reports as required.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Strong understanding of ecommerce marketplace dynamics including new and emerging areas within the Meest-America geographic presence.
- Comprehensive knowledge of corporate, marketing and distribution operations of the company to ensure business objectives are accomplished.
 
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business administration or management, or other Business or Economics-related major.
 
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years progressive experience in business and customer development or equivalent in other business functions, specific to e-commerce.
- Working knowledge of Ukrainian, or other Eastern European languages ​​is a plus.
