The warehouse employee is responsible for processing mail: scanning, registration and warehousing items. He/she must have the ability to pay attention to details, have the skills to work with electronic devices and effectively communicate with team members and representatives of other companies.

Warehouse Worker Job Description

• Working within and complying with occupational health and safety guidelines to ensure your own safety and that of others.
• Assisting in unloading/loading vehicles, if necessary.
• Scanning all packages with a handheld scanner as they enter or leave our warehouse.
• Reporting all damaged packages and irregularities with labels to the supervisor.
• Sorting scanned packages and placing them in the designated area per instructions.
• Palletizing scanned packages per instructions.
• Communicating with delivery services couriers and a landlord representative.
• Updating information in the company’s database per instructions.
• Performing administrative tasks as needed.

Warehouse Worker Job Requirements – Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

• Basic PC knowledge and skills to work with electronic devices.
• Ability to read documentation in English.
• Great attention to details, ability to work efficiently and with accuracy in a fast-paced environment where tasks must be completed quickly.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English with couriers and landlord representatives.
• Ability to routinely lift and move objects up to 10 pounds without any assistance and occasionally move objects up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to squat, stand, walk, reach daily and as needed to perform all job functions.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime at short notice.
